Great mission from big city suburbs in low income and high income areas to country small towns. Hot and humid, melt your chap stick summers. Lots of rain storms and one or 2 cold weather snaps in winter.
It is HOT and HUMID in the summer. The winters are pretty mild lasting only about a month, but can get a little chilly.
Expect to sweat through your clothes in the summer. Bring light-weight, moisture wicking clothing.
Elders: Serve shirts are recommended for the summer with light-weight golf pants. Bring some sweaters and pull overs for the winter.
Sisters: Many sisters find it to be much cooler to wear loose, casual dresses than pants. The pants should be flowy as well, though. The sisters really enjoy swapping and trading clothing, so don't stress too much about having a ton of expensive clothes. Invest money into super comfortable shoes instead.
All leather shoes are best for the heat and humidity and crazy rain storms.
Most recommended shoes for Sisters are Mary Jane Dr. Martens, Dansko Rowans, and fisherman sandals.
Bring three outfits of exercise clothing.
It is largely a car mission.

Serve shirts have a ventilation panel in the side of the shirt making them noticeably more breathable. Missionaries serving in hot or humid places absolutely RAVE about this feature. The most popular shirt for hot-climate missions, for sure.
