There is a lot of humidity. The summers can be really hot and humid, but their winters, while it does get colder, are pretty mild. There are occasional ice storms that keep missionaries indoors, so missionary approved boredom activities are nice.
You don't really need a coat, but if it gets a little cold, you can purchase something there or have it shipped through Amazon.
There are mostly cars in this mission, but a few biking areas, so a couple pair of shoes should last the entire mission.

Serve shirts have a ventilation panel in the side of the shirt making them noticeably more breathable. Missionaries serving in hot or humid places absolutely RAVE about this feature. The most popular shirt for hot-climate missions, for sure.
