You will experience all seasons in this mission. The summertime is HOT and HUMID. Humidity make take some adjustment if you’re not used to it.
Winters vary based on the area you are serving. More inland, you will get some snow and ice, but the snow isn’t deep. The coastal areas are more like 70 degrees without need for a coat.
Spring brings a lot of pollen and allergies. Be prepared with allergy meds.
You will want mosquito repellent and cortisone cream.
There is a lot of southern hospitality. You will be offered water on a hot day, cocoa on a cold one.

Serve shirts have a ventilation panel in the side of the shirt making them noticeably more breathable. Missionaries serving in hot or humid places absolutely RAVE about this feature. The most popular shirt for hot-climate missions, for sure.
