alabama map outline

Climate: long, hot, humid summers and short, mild to cool winters.

Clothing: A simple fleece pull-over or light coat is good for the winter. A good rain jacket is very nice. The summers are pretty hot and humid, so short sleeves are pretty important. Bring extra garments (mesh or stretch cotton) because sometimes you end up taking a couple showers a day. Elders request black golf pants, as the other colors let sweat marks visable. It is mostly a driving mission.

Alimens & Gentle $14–$20/shirt

Many find this the perfect alternative to pricier dress shirts, and is one of the most recommended shirts overall. It has 4-way stretch, comfortable, and is easy to care for.

Region Recommendations
Serve
Serve $50–$55/shirt

Serve shirts have a ventilation panel in the side of the shirt making them noticeably more breathable. Missionaries serving in hot or humid places absolutely RAVE about this feature. The most popular shirt for hot-climate missions, for sure.
