Hot and Humid and Rainy! In the summer it rains every afternoon and is very muggy. Winters are pretty mild, but can be cool, especially with the humidity.
A rain jacket it a must! But keep it light-weight.
Pack extra, extra, extra garments! You sweat a lot and it is not unheard of to take multiple showers a day.
There is a lot of biking, so you get extra sweaty. A good waterbottle is important, so you don't dehydrate in the humidity. Some electrolyte packets are super helpful as well.
Serve shirts are great for this humid climate. Pack more short sleeved shirts than long. You probably only need a couple.
Get some light-weight, quick drying, breathable golf pants. The darker colors are better at hiding sweat stains.
Your every day carry bag should be waterproof.
Some slides or shoes to wear around the apartment is really nice.

Serve shirts have a ventilation panel in the side of the shirt making them noticeably more breathable. Missionaries serving in hot or humid places absolutely RAVE about this feature. The most popular shirt for hot-climate missions, for sure.
