It rains a lot, so bring a good rain jacket.
There is a good mix of walking, biking and cars in this mission.
The mission provides a blanket and pillow, so you will need sheets.
Get comfortable shoes that dry easily. Consider a shoe dryer. Dr. Martens are suggested often. Bring rain boots.
Sisters: bring lots of slacks and shorter dresses (for bikes).
Things that sisters miss from the U.S. are: deodorant that they are used to, curly hair gel, and mascara.
Things can be ordered from Amazon Austrailia and usually take about a week to get to the missionary.
There are also a lot of fleas and bed bugs. Spray treat bedding.
Shoes come off in every home, so send shoes that are easily removeable.
