Canada Vancouver Mission
Canada · Northern US / Canada
Canada map outline

Vancouver is rainy and wet, but the northern areas of the mission are dry, hot, cold, and snowy. Dr. Martens waterproofed have held up well there. Blundstone boots are recommended the most for missionaries serving in this area. Because they are waterproof, they do great in the rain and the snowy, colder areas. The summers are warm, so short sleeved shirts are nice too.
A waterproof raincoat is a must!
It is surprisingly difficult to ship things from the U.S. It is expensive and sometimes missionaries are up to 7 hours away from the mission home, so don't get packages frequently. Amazon is recommended as the best option.

Mission-Specific Recommendations
Blundstone (Elders) $210–$275

By far the most mentioned boots in ALL missionary threads. It is a Chelsea boot style. A thermal version is available for really cold climates. I haven't found a negative review of Blundstones. Many missionaries say these lasted their entire mission and still look nice.
