This mission is HOT!! Like really hot! It has lots of days with 100 degree + temps. It cools down a bit in the fall and winter. The days are still warm, but it can get a little chilly at night. It is not really rainy.

Bring light-weight clothing! Elders: mostly short sleeved shirts. They do need suits and wear them frequently.
A good sun hat will be invaluable.

There is a lot of walking. you will wear out your shoes, so get good quality shoes that are comfortable.
