Climate: It has a warm dry season and a cooler wet season. However, it is not humid. They don't usually have A/C or heating, because the temperature stays relatively nice all year. It can get a tiny bit chilly in the winter, but not extreme at all.
Clothing: Mostly clothing for temps in the 70s. No need for warm clothing really.
Shoes: You do a lot of walking and biking, so durable shoes Dr. Martens hold up. But, you also end up taking a lot of ubers, so it is nice to be familiar with that app. A bike clip to keep pants in place, so as to not get caught in a bike chain is very handy.
