Korea map outline

Climate: hot, humid summers and COLD, humid winters. Temperatures range from 21°F to 85°F over the year.
The humidity makes the cold feel colder.
In Korea, 18 years old is still considered a minor, so parents are required to send in passport info and sign paper work for their missionary's visa.
Bring toothpaste and deodorant to last entire mission. It's cheaper to send it initially, than to have it shipped. They do not have similar products there. Tampons are also difficult to find there.
You can find clothing in smaller sizes for men and women, so it is not necessary to send all of the winter gear out with the missionary. It does get cold there, so prepare to dress in layers, and get warm gloves (maybe some hand warmers) and other winter clothes.
Blundstone boots are highly recommended for Elders and Sisters for the winter and rain.
